Subject: Summer Shoot Supplemental Regulations
Numerous requests from members attending the summer shoot out have produced the following supplemental changes for this event only. Because this is an unofficial race and designed as a test and tune for the September Grand Nationals we will vary from standard practices to allow races some testing freedom in regards to tires, engines and chassis usage. Please note along with the component allowances there are also deadlines for declaring each.
Practice schedule for Friday will be posted Thursday evening.
Race day schedules will be posted Friday by the conclusion of practice.

SUMMER SHOOTOUT - SUPPLEMENTAL RULE UPDATE To accommodate the many competitors who will be at this event to prepare for the 2009 Rotax Grand Nationals in September, several supplemental rules will be in place.
- Friday practice - ALL ENGINES MUST BE UNDER SEAL AT ALL TIMES.
- Two sets of dry tires will be allowed for the weekend, beginning with Saturday qualifying.
- Micro & Mini Max will qualify Saturday on “Sticker Tires.”
- Micro Max & Mini Max will be allowed one set of tires for entire event.
- Deadline for marking tires will be 6:00.pm. on Friday. Tire desk will open at 8:30am. Competitors must present tires at tire desk for marking before deadline.
- Saturday - All classes must qualify on "Sticker Tires."
- Use of marked tires is free after Saturday qualifying.
- One chassis per race day will be allowed. Exception for damaged chassis replacement. Friday deadline for chassis declaration is 6:00.pm.
- Two engines each race day will be allowed.
