OMC is pleased to announce it will be hosting the 2009 Rotax Summer Shoot Out July 18-19. This event will be a great opportunity to get some competitive track time with other Rotax drivers in preparation for the 2009 Rotax Grand Nationals we are hosting Sep 15-19. The following is a press release from Rotax with information about the USRMC Summer Shoot Out The weekend of July 17-19, 2009 the Oklahoma Motorsports Complex will host the warm up for the September US Rotax Grand Nationals. This event was held for the first time in 2008, as a stand alone Rotax event. It was very successful with competition from every corner of the US plus some visitors from Canada. This event is again open to all. At the 2008 Rotax Grand Finals discussions were held with our friends in Mexico, inviting them to attend this event also. In 2008 we also welcomed those who do not hold a US Rotax Membership with a one weekend temporary membership and this will again be offered. For those who cannot make the trip to the Grand Nationals this is an opportunity to compete with some of the best Rotax racers in the US. The official part of the event will include Saturday and Sunday practice, qualifying, heat, Pre-Final and Final. The exact format will be determined by the number of entries with at least one additional heat added to the 2009 program. Oklahoma Motorsports Complex will offer open practice for the days leading up to the official program that will begin on Saturday.
